FREE MARKETING BUDGET CALCULATOR

What would your budget
need to earn back?

Try a few numbers and see how many extra customers would cover your monthly marketing costs. This is a planning scenario, not a prediction of leads or sales.

For example, one in four is 25%. Use your own records where possible.

Use figures excluding GST throughout. Direct costs include the labour, materials and other costs incurred delivering that job.

How the calculation works

Job value minus direct delivery cost gives the contribution per job. Total marketing costs divided by that contribution gives the required customers, rounded up. Customers divided by your enquiry-to-customer conversion rate gives required qualified enquiries, also rounded up.

With the example figures, $800 in costs and $240 contribution per job require four additional customers. At a 25% conversion rate, that means sixteen qualified enquiries. These are assumptions to test against your own records.
